La sélection du Festival Black Movie 2024

La 25e édition du Festival Black Movie aura lieu du 19 au 28 janvier à Genève. Ce festival fait la part belle aux découvertes du cinéma indépendant tout en célébrant les grands noms du cinéma d’auteur contemporain. Le Festival Black Movie sera à suivre comme chaque année sur Le Polyester. Sa sélection a été dévoilée.

Le cinéaste taïwanais Tsai Ming-liang sera à l’honneur avec Walker, une une exposition inédite autour de ses travaux. Parmi les très nombreuses avant premières qui seront au programme, on trouve beaucoup de nos coups de cœur récents tels que The Summer With Carmen de Zacharias Mavroeidis, Le Spectre de Boko Haram de Cyrielle Raingou, Eureka de Lisandro Alonso, El castillo de Martín Benchimol, Le Mal n’existe pas de Ryusuke Hamaguchi (critique bientôt en ligne), Toll de Carolina Markowicz, La Mère de tous les mensonges d’Asmae El Moudir, Samsara de Lois Patiño, Mambar Pierrette de Rosine Mbakam ou encore 27 de Flóra Anna Buda.
