La 59e édition du Festival de New York aura lieu du 24 septembre au 10 octobre. Sa sélection a été dévoilée. Le festival s’ouvrira avec la première mondiale de The Tragedy of Macbeth, le nouveau film de Joel Coen qui met en scène notamment Denzel Washington et Frances McDormand. A noter que deux cinéastes sont doublement représentés : le Coréen Hong Sangsoo (Introduction et In Front of Your Face) et le Japonais (Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy et Drive My Car).
