La sélection de la Mostra de Venise 2025

La Mostra de Venise aura lieu du 27 août au 6 septembre. Sa sélection vient d’être dévoilée. L’an passé, le jury présidé par Isabelle Huppert a décerné le Lion d’or à La Chambre d’à côté de Pedro Almodovar. Cette année, le jury sera présidé par le réalisateur américain Alexander Payne. A ses côtés : le réalisateur français Stéphane Brizé, la réalisatrice italienne Maura Delpero, le réalisateur roumain Cristian Mungiu, le réalisateur iranien Mohammad Rasoulof, l’actrice brésilienne Fernanda Torres et l’actrice chinoise Zhao Tao.

En compétition internationale, à noter les nouveaux longs métrages de l’Américaine Kathryn Bigelow, du Coréen Park Chan-wook, du Grec Yorgos Lanthimos, du Français François Ozon ou encore de la Hongroise Ildiko Enyedi.

Côté compétition Orizzonti, on, retrouve les nouveaux longs métrages de la Macédonienne Teona Strugar Mitevska, du Britannique Mark Jenkin, de l’Italienne Laura Samani ou encore du Thaïlandais Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit.
